1950s Holt Howard Cat Salt & Pepper Pots With Squeakers

If you like cute and kitsch Kitchenalia, then you will love these 1950s Holt Howard Cat Salt & Pepper Pots With Squeakers! 

They date from about the 1950s and were made in Japan. The cats are both sporting scarves. The male cat has a blue scarf and the female, a pink scarf. Unfortunately, the paint on the blue scarf is flaking off.

Both figures are in fair vintage condition with some defects including:

• Crazing and Paint loss to all painted areas, particularly the blue scarf.
• The female cat has lost it's rubber stopper.
• Both have their 'Meow' squeakers, which make a noise when you shake the pots, but the female cat's noise is a bit hit and miss.
• The female cat has small chips on the tips of her ears, and the male cat has  small chips on his paw and tail. There may be others which I haven't yet found ...
• Both cats have manufacturing defects including bubbles and bobbles.

• Base width:- 5.3cm
• Base Depth: 6cm
